“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction both are transformed” – Jung.
For collaboration to start then the first thing that must happen is contact and contact that builds understanding and trust. Then and only then can collaboration be founded. Often our similarities are the basis for this. We are often more alike than we imagine, even across diverse cultures.
So, this workshop will need to gather a similar experience from all those attending as a starting point. It will require some few hours of work before those attending the workshop meet in Qatar. Details of this will be developed and communicated by the beginning of February.
The actual workshop time in Qatar will concern itself with the action of assembling these common experiences and communicating them through printed and electronic media in the expectation of enabling a meaningful collaboration to develop.
As the faculty members involved with this workshop we will need to collaborate in the further detail development of this project.
